Johnson Hobbs & Squires announces the recognition of Ryan Johnson as a 2014 Texas Super Lawyer-Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly magazines, a Thomson Reuters service. Ryan was previously selected as a Texas Super Lawyer-Rising Star in 2013. Fewer than 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys are named to the Rising Stars list each year.

Rising Stars are selected by Texas Super Lawyers through a meticulous selection process, and must meet the publication's strict set of guidelines. Texas lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys age 40 or under during the selection process. In order for an attorney to be nominated, another lawyer must personally observe these individuals in action. In addition, an attorney-led research team reviews the credentials of potential candidates and assigns points based on a set of defined evaluation criteria. Those with the highest totals are named to the Rising Star list, published in the Texas Super Lawyer magazine.

Ryan Johnson has a successful practice in the area of business litigation, product liability and personal injury litigation. Ryan also serves as outside general counsel for several businesses and has served as an adjunct professor at Baylor Law School.
